Speaking about being cool, we have here our very own cool Community Builders, Alex and Ezra to answer some of the questions you guys might have.
Introduction to Escape by Etiqa.
Me: Tell us a little bit about Escape. What is it actually about?
Alex: We are a co-working space, open to anyone who wants to have a chill spot for them to work in.
We have an open space area, you can hold meetings here, rent a private office if you’d like some privacy, or even host your event! That’s right, we have our own event space open for all.
Me: Cool! So what time do you guys open?
Ezra: Our business hours are from 8:45am to 5:45pm (Monday – Thursday) and 8:45am to 4:45pm (Friday) and we are closed on weekends and public holidays.
However, for members, you are free to use our space 24/7, don’t be shy!
How do I get there?
Me: Alex, I’m interested. But I’m not sure how to get to Escape? Could you help me out?
Alex: It’s easy. We are located at Level 16 Menara Etiqa, Jalan Bangsar Utama 1. We are accessible by LRT Bangsar with just two minutes walking distance.
Me: Oh nice! I’m a LRT user myself. Also, do I have to register at the lobby?
Alex: Yes, you have to register at the Menara Etiqa registration counter at level 1 (same floor with Starbucks) first before you can come up to level 16. Don’t worry, it’s hassle-free.
Flexible Choices
Me: Awesome! Ezra, can you tell me a little bit about the services Escape provides?
Ezra: Sure thing. We have a few options for you: day pass, hot desks and fixed desks. All three of these let you inside the open space, but hot desks and fixed desks are charged monthly.
Me: What’s the difference between hot desks and fixed desks?
Ezra: To have your own fixed, dedicated desk, choose fixed desks. If you are comfortable changing your seats around, you can try hot desking!
Me: What about day passes?
Ezra: It’s a similar concept to hot desking, except you’ll be charged daily. Perfect for students.
Meeting Rooms?
Me: Cool. So I have my own start-up team and we’re always having discussions. Do you have a space for meetings?
Alex: For sure. We have meeting rooms suitable for 6-10 people.
Me: Nice! But I was wondering if you guys have something more private, more secure perhaps?
Alex: Our private offices can accommodate 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 9 people in one room. You get your own private access, your own chairs and desks, and very secure privacy.
Event Space!
Me: I heard about your event space, can you really fit a lot of people in there?
Ezra: You’ll be surprised. We can fit up to 100 people at one time!
Amenities at our Space
Me: Awesome! What else do you guys provide?
Ezra: We have a common space for you to mingle around. A pantry for you to snack or have lunch at. Oh yeah, our Wi-Fi is super fast.
Alex: We also have our own in-house barista!
